Baari Privacy Policy
Effective 22 September 2026 · Applies to the Baari Android app (package pk.baari.app)
Baari lets customers find nearby barbershops and book appointments, and lets shops manage those bookings. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and how you can delete it. Baari is developed by Muhammad Saqib ("we").
What we collect

We do not collect your contacts, photos, files, or precise location in the background. The app shows no ads and does not use an advertising ID. We do not sell personal information.
Who can see it
- The shop you book with sees your name, phone number, the booking details and your notes, and keeps its own record of your visits and loyalty points at that shop.
- Other customers see only a shop's public information and reviews (without reviewers' names).
- Our service providers, only to run the app:
- Supabase — database, sign-in and hosting of app data (servers in Mumbai, India,
ap-south-1). - Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivering push notifications (your device token).
- EmailJS — emailing one-time codes to shop owners who change their shop PIN (the owner's email address).
- OpenStreetMap — map tiles when a shop owner places their shop on the map.
- Supabase — database, sign-in and hosting of app data (servers in Mumbai, India,
- Links such as Directions, Add to calendar and Share on WhatsApp open Google Maps, Google Calendar or WhatsApp; those services' own policies apply there.
- We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How it is protected
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access in the database is restricted row by row: customers can read only their own bookings, and shop staff only their own shop's data.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information until you delete your account. When you do, it is deleted as described below; copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period until they are overwritten.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Account → Delete account. Full details, including what is removed and what a shop keeps, are on our account deletion page.
Deleted: your profile (name, email, phone), your password and sign-in, your reviews, your notifications, your referral code and referral rewards, and your device push tokens.
Kept by each shop: that shop's own booking records (with the name and phone number you gave for the booking) and its customer record of your visits and loyalty points there. They are no longer linked to any account.
Children
Baari is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Your choices
- Edit your name and phone number in the app.
- Turn location or notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, using the contact below.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in the app when the change is significant.

- ڈیوائس پُش ٹوکن — آپ کی اجازت سے اطلاعات بھیجنے کے لیے، مثلاً دکان نے بکنگ قبول کر لی۔
- دکان کی معلومات (صرف دکان کے مالک اور عملہ) — دکان کا نام، پتہ، نقشے پر جگہ، فون، اوقات، سروسز اور قیمتیں، عملہ، ادائیگی کے طریقے، اخراجات اور ادائیگیوں کا ریکارڈ۔
ہم آپ کے کانٹیکٹس، تصاویر، فائلیں یا پس منظر میں لوکیشن نہیں لیتے۔ ایپ میں کوئی اشتہار نہیں اور کوئی ایڈورٹائزنگ آئی ڈی استعمال نہیں ہوتی۔ ہم ذاتی معلومات فروخت نہیں کرتے۔
کون دیکھ سکتا ہے
- جس دکان پر آپ بکنگ کرتے ہیں وہ آپ کا نام، فون، بکنگ کی تفصیل اور نوٹس دیکھتی ہے، اور اپنے پاس آپ کے وزٹس اور پوائنٹس کا ریکارڈ رکھتی ہے۔
